The eastern part of the Louisiana sugarcane industry was hit by Hurricane Ida on August 30. The immediate need of the American Sugar Cane League has been to ascertain that its staff members, agronomists, researchers, producers, technicians, and all industry employees are safe. The ASCL will provide crop assessments after our people and communications are stabilized.
